A school schedule with a different approach to holistic education for your child
A Different Approach
We are a University-Model® school which blends aspects of a private and home schooling environment; but with all instruction provided on the ALA campus. Students attend full time schooling, three days per week for direct instruction on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students may also attend on Mondays for additional elective opportunities and tutoring/homework help if needed. The "University Model" name is derived from the university-style schedule, where students typically register for coursework on a semester-by-semester basis and may register for a full load or just selected courses.
Our Schedule
All students attend school Monday – Thursday with the following hours: Mondays 8:30 – 12:30, Tuesdays through Thursdays 8:30 – 3:15, Friday STEM/STEAM activities 8:30 – 12:30 (please send a snack, no lunch), Friday Field Trips – vary according to event planned.

Before & After School
We currently offer on-site before and after school care, for an additional cost. This is offered daily Monday – Thursday for all grade levels from 7:45 am until the start of school each morning at 8:30, and 3:15 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays only.
Fridays at ALA vary throughout the year. Students can sign-up to attend the optional S.T.E.A.M. classes and field trips as they are scheduled. No before or after school care is available on Fridays.
